Near Disaster on an Alpine Canoeing Adventure for Our Lego Motorhomers

With the sun shining and the temperatures soaring the crystal clear rapids of the Queryas Regional Park in the French Alps were too much for our Lego Motorhome Adventurers to resist. The outing started well, finding a safe place to push off and easily negotiating some early rapids. However, the outing took an unexpected and dangerous turn when a swirling current caught the pair unawares, throwing mini Dave out of the Canoe. Mini Ali was forced to paddle on alone until she could find a safe spot to haul her Lego soul mate to safety. See how the action unfolded below....

Mini Ali and Dave find a place to park and set about getting ready to go.....

"It's not too far to the water from here..."

"3, 2, 1.....push off....paddle!"

Mini Ali and Dave enjoy some easy rapids in fine sunshine....

The outing is going swimmingly....until...

A current throws the canoe to one side, tossing mini Dave right overboard into the water.....

Mini Ali is left negotiating a tricky drop all by herself while mini Dave is relieved he has a mini Lego life jacket on....

Mini Ali paddles hard to find a safe place to land and grabs a long branch that mini Dave manages to catch as he floats by....

Phew. Our Lego soul mates are safely reunited on dry land....now they just need to work out the way back to the Lego motorhome.
